#How can I filter out blue light to not strain my eyes as much? I tried redshift but doesn't work.

to use qredshift, you first need to download it from download section and only then add it to your taskbar from the left tab
Download it from the app manager? Not from applet, right?
And how do I add apps from the left tab?
in your settings, open extensions or whatever it's called
then go to downloads tab and install qredshift
then press manage (iirc), select qredshift and press +
Only from APPLETS. then like Lot said, add it from the "manage applets" so it adds into the panel. Note: qredshift relies on redshift being in the system, so ensure it's there.
did you figure it out?
no it doesnt work
i even said "I also tried installing QRedShift and that also doesn't show up on the menu app bar."
so what version and how do I install redshift. to then install qshift
theres 3 versions of regular redshift in the software manager
then theres QShift from applets
sudo apt install redshift
ill do it when the wifi on my laptop decides to work when it feels like it
how do i check if it installed correctly
