eh, go in bios and disable secure boot
i have disabled
did u have it disabled before picking nvidia driver?
yes i switched to open source again, someone told me to use proprietary but it didnt work either
yeah
on Mint?
maybe cuz my 2nd monitor doesnt have gsync
arch
see if inxi reports stuff in terminal . inxi -b
if not installed, install the package inxi
kk
so I see nvidia , driver: n/a
are you using the opensource driver at the moment?
no i am on proprietary rn
k well its driver did not load, before u attempt a reboot, do mokutil --sb-state in terminal and list the result
only shows display port monitor
only one connected right now?
also, not showing info, so may need a reboot
i have both connected but only the left one is showing up
else, the driver needs installation
i guess that's the display port part of the onboard gpu
yes
how do i do rthat
yeah, research how to install the nvidia drivers on arch
i've no idea
after u do, and reboot, then inxi -Gxx should show a driver version number like 550 or so on the nvidia information
i dont really know what to choose
also KDE info centre : hardware will show info
Install the nvidia graphics driver, as detailed in https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA#Installation and then install nvidia-prime to make use of the GPU on demand: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PRIME# … er_offload
