i have secure boot off already
ill look at his videos thanks'
it's just the one vid really. simple watch.
Im checking to see if it fixed
i enrolled the cert in vtoyefi and now i get this
reboot (ctrl-alt-delete) immediately, then start ventoy again to its second white screen
(pick iso u wanna launch from first screen ofc) in second screen, do verify checksum - sha256
let it calculate for awhile
okay
then compare the result to the linuxmint.com sha256.txt file's contents for the exact iso u got. if they dont match, then it's bad and needs to be rechecked what u downloaded and rewritten
or redownloaded and rewritten
i redownloaded iso and still dont work
when i did file check sum i couldnt find the sha256 file
did u take a photo of the hash result that ventoy did?
nope i got it now
thank you
i restarted again and it decided to work now i can install mint
Linux Mint is an elegant, easy to use, up to date and comfortable desktop operating system.
for reference, it's there in the grey section
right click the sha256 txt , do save as
open the text file on your device and compare the hash value for the iso to what ventoy calculated.
if matches, then it should be a perfect copy onto the flash
