I burned Fedora 40 to usb as usual, but it doesn't boot. It just says "Welcome to GRUB!" and it gets stuck. I never had that with others Linux distributions.

might have error. verify the hash on the iso

#

if u have ventoy, u can easily do that from its 2nd boot menu

I don't know why, but my phone lags when I try to download Fedora iso from official site

#

I will download ventoy and check if it's not loading

#

I installed ventoy on my USB and I'm going to check it with Linux Mint iso (also verified)

#

It just says "VTloading......."

#

@floral jolt (sorry for ping)

#

I tried to wait 10 minutes

#

Not today, it was several months ago

Maybe solve the problem

#

On github I saw a threat

#

I found out that it's problem on all HP Pavilion dv6 laptops

#

I guess there's no other solution than getting another pc/laptop

I have 2007 laptop whose BIOS supports booting off USB, and I've run linux both live and installed off it

#

if u used ventoy with just the plain defaults (which is MBR) that's compatible with mid-to-late 2000s computers. (as long as their BIOS' support booting from USB stick)

#

else you could just flash with Rufus, using the Alt+E key combo as soon as it launches so it gives u both MBR, and FAT32 style capability to flash the iso.
