what happens when you systemctl start bluetooth
User@Pc:~$ systemctl start bluetooth
User@Pc:~$
.
that's unusual
btw can you post screenshots instead? it makes it easier to read
Like this
can you add a sudo before
done
bruh what
yeah im also confused
your pc is fucked
i know 😢
Has updating the kernel been attempted yet
drop the terminal command
You can do it somewhere in the update manager its easier in there
he apparently tried arch and fedora so probably
View -> Linux kernels
Still worth a shot
The drivers might just have issues then
Assuming they even have them
on windows they work
but windows is shiet
Oh wait the latest isn't active
Try activating latest
alr
and how
Windows drivers and Linux are different
.
That's weird, I've done it before but I forget how
is there smth else i can do
what you know
Not to my knowledge
reboot and it should automatically load the newest one
Try resetting BIOS to defaults as the bluetooth device is not found at all, it should be in lsusb results with an ID like 8087:****
I did a quick Google, it's part of the WiFi chip and looks to have some historical issues with Linux despite being supported in iwlwifi
Which is very tasty and delicious
The Bluetooth end would be handled by btusb and btintel
I think there is something weird with the BIOS and it doesn't want to reveal that USB device for whatever reason.
