#Mu computer (T460) won't connect to hidden networks

I have recently acquired a Thinkpad T460 that I put Mint on. I tried to connect to a private network, but just can't get it to work. I can connect to non-hidden networks just fine though.
I tried the same process on Fedora 40, which didn't solve it (I hence assume the distro is irrelevant, especially as my other laptop with LM 22 does not have this issue).

I tried whatever I could: Trying different security protocols, (re)installing iwlwifi... But no can do.

The only thing I have left in mind now is that the issue must be hardware-related (when doing a repaste for the device, the wires attached to the wifi module were detached, I reattached them but not being 100% sure that I did it right, but as non-hidden networks work ootb I wanted to try everything there could be under the sun before I tackle this). And I wonder if one of you can think of something that may explain the issue.

I attached the wi-fi info from the system reports app, in case this is any relevant (I kinda know the N/A here is no good sign)

Well I'd rather be able to just solve the issue, but if I have to just find a workaround (which looks like I have to), it may be worth the try. Thanks for the suggestion!

You didn't wire it wrong or it wouldn't be able to connect to anything and it being hidden is both irrelevant to security and probably irrelevant to your connection issues. You should ensure in your router configuration that it is set in such a fashion to be compatible with your older less capable wifi device.
