#mint installer info and stuck

I try run mint installer and I see "isolinux some numbers of version" and " char showing on screen in random location,
I set usb drive as 1st boot and disk.
what to change into bios?

are you attempting to do a brand new installation?

if dualbooting older Windows and wanting to dualboot Linux on same computer, you'll have to share more info

I try run linux mint installation on PC with windows installed, I set correct boot options in bios, and then that stuck after restart pc

there is linux mint 21.3 on stick

it seems to be stuck very very early then while trying to live boot. verify the iso you downloaded , and if it matches the sha256 hash from mint website, then good, try reflashing to usb (and wait at least half minute after flash says complete) then try to live boot again

iso is verified I instaled mint from this on my pc and tryed on another and it was working correct, but I found one pc where it stuck on start 🙂

btw. there is strange problem (on that problematic pc) when I set in disk options that mint installer stick as first then bios doesnt see ssd disk (with windows), it is possible that mint installer stuck becouse bios doesnt see other disk but stick only?

if it's UEFI u must boot the USB up the same way. (no CSM/legacy!)

@tardy anvil one of RAM was badly plugged and gave failure scan in memtest 🙂 thx mint team for memtest on instalation stick! 🙂
