#Installing matlab not working

Hey, I'm new to linux mint and im tryign to install Matlab because i have to use it for uni. When I run the ./install command i get the following error. I have tried looking solutions online but i dont understand them or i cant find any. Im using linux mint 22 wilma

you don't install apps that way. instead, try sudo apt install matlab

it should be sudo ./install.sh

i have tried following multiple guides and i always get the same "Authorization required, but no authorization protocol specified" and something about the a display

sudo is usually used for root commands
