I was downloading mint cinnamon when it got stuck at detecting file systems

downloading and installing mean two different things and are not interchangable

I have downloaded the mint os and have installed it. I got to the start menu and pressed the cd with the name "install Linux mint"

It began installing Linux

Then it got like that

it may not find a drive for a certain reason like RST

#

open start menu, > Accessories> Disks

#

see if ur internal drive shows up

#

if no drive matching the size of your internal SSD or HDD shows up there, then you need to turn off Intel RST or SSD VMD or RAID in your BIOS setup
