It says it when trying to do the authenticity check I paste In every command it says in the form and it just pops that error out no matter if it's cmd or windows PowerShell
You are checking the authenticity of... a Linux ISO?
Yes xfce version
Rn the PC is off and I don't have any photos
The likely issue is Windows not supporting the algorithm used for the hash out of the box. You need SHA256.
Il try it later
Wait, GPG? Are you actually using GPG on Windows for this? As in GNU Privacy Guard?
Im using what's found on the form
Yes gnu privacy guard
You need a program that can verify SHA256 checksums. The method cited here is with GNU Privacy Guard, which is not present on Windows, you would have to install it first. I know of no good way to check this with Windows default tools.
Or you can just skip testing, it is not required.
I've installed GNU guard
Then good luck figuring it out. I have never used it.
Aw man I've installed Linux mint Cinnamon on my old pc and had little to no issues
I also used GNU guard
That is good. You could test the ISO there, Mint is usually equipped to test ISO checksums.
