OS boots with bios instead of grub

I started using mint few days ago so idk much about it but i got some kind of error while shutting down my pc 2 days ago and after that, whenever i power on my pc it boots from bios and not grub. I tried reinstalling grub and also downloading grub2 but it still boots from bios.

instead of booting your OS, it goes straight to bios?

before the error the, when i powered on my pc it boots linux mint directly without any bios screen
after the error, mt pc first shows the bios loading screen like it did with windows with "press F12 to open bios menu" in the corner then opens linux mint
