i currently have linux mint on my laptop and i wanna install BigLinux (bc sometimes i like to test new distros that i dont know about), my problem is when i try to use the flash drive i cant install the linux on my laptop, but on another laptop i was able to install it.

I even tried to install Windows 10 using WoeUsb and after installing windows installing linux again, but it didnt work either.

After all of it, the laptop always end up starting Linux mint .

i tried to use: Balena Etcher (on a laptop with windows and also on mine); Rufus (on a laptop with windwos); WoeUsb, gparted and ventoy (those on Linux Mint)

(ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY PLS HELPPPPPPPPPPPPP, I JUST WANNA TEST ANOTHER DISTRO WHY MY LAPTOP HATE ME SO MUCH?😭 )

If you are using a USB drive, try to put USB key at the top of the boot order.

Ok, ill try it

past heron
#

by doing it the otherway, u end up installing in legacy mode.

#

and use Ventoy.

#

first erase ventoy if u already have it. ^^ use the clear ventoy function as shown in the menu of ventoy2disk

#

then close the app, restart it.

#

then choose the Partition style as shown in pic.

#

^ how it should look for proper modern booting.
