if you want Windows 11, you must ensure you:
- have a UEFI motherboard
- backup your personal Linux files, bookmarks, saved themes
- have 2 USB sticks: one for linux/gparted-live; one for windows iso.... or make a ventoy multiboot usb on a 16 GB or greater flash drive
- boot with gparted-live or Mint ISO
- use gparted to wipe drive, make GPT
- install Windows first (boot usb in uefi mode)
- turn off Windows Fast Startup, bitlocker encryption, and Secure Boot
- install Linux second (boot usb in uefi mode)

win 11?
windows 10 22h2
then you'll need to do it the long way mentioned or buy a second drive
@south phoenix can linux convert to GPT on an installed system? I don't think so
wdym
you have to use mbr2gpt.exe or wipe and clean convert with diskpart
it depends if the target drive has data or not
you don't do that. a ventoy drive with windowz and mint will do, but let windowz installer handle the windowz partitioning, unless they want to clean install everything
how can they run this if Windows isn't there yet? Did u see the opening screenshots?
hello. Any progress with this?
