see if any firewalls are set up on Neon or in router, and set rules
I took down my firewall and i was able to get in with xrdp, but it wouldn't fully log in and say "login failed for display 0". Then I tried KDE's integrated RDP and it let's me put in my credentials, but never opens the RDP window to do anything. Also, my KDE RDP is randomly creating sessions now
OK. Now when I log in on the windows PC, it just shows a black screen and doesn't let me control anything on my Linux PC
you need to be logged out localy when connecting from a different machine
xrdp doenst allow multi sessions
Tried that and it won't connect at all if I'm logged out
xrdp is running?
Systemctl status xrdp
Had the same issues last week. It was either xrdp not running on the client or not being logged out.
Have you checked the xrdp logs? I also had access denied on some /etc/ content once
