Hi, I'm currently trying to install Mint (Cinnamon) on my Pc. The installer does not recognize my already installed windows 11 os. Any advise is appreciated

do the following:

  • boot to Windows, turn off Fast Startup
  • go to BIOS, turn off Secure Boot, and Intel RST if it's there
  • ensure UEFI-BIOS's boot mode is pure UEFI (no legacy or CSM)
#

Then boot the installer iso as UEFI USB STORAGE DEVICE

Fast startup and secure boot are off; i didn't find Intel RST in my bios settings.
I'm not sure if my boot mode is set up correctly though

#

I tried booting from the USB drive and both partitions show this error message

I used balena etcher to flash the image. I still get an error message on both partitions
