Basically the title. When I try to install linux by the "install linux mint" program it doesn't detect my windows and the only options left are start fresh with linux as the only SO or configure partitions manually(which I'm not confident to touch on alone). The option listed on the site that says that the installer will create a new partion and still itself alongside windows is missing.
Context:
I was trying to install mint but the error "no image found" when trying to boot from the pendrive. Then I went to the BIOS and did something that I'm not sure what it was but it booted the OS. Now I'm getting that situation described before.
What I expected to happen:
That mint recognized windows and the correct option would appear
What really happened:
Mint is not recognizing windows and only allows me to format my disk and start fresh or configure manually the partitions but it also shows that my disk is clean(not the case, I have some personal files)
