#Is it okay to not use Timeshift?

I would at least have a copy of my home partition on a USB drive
home is empty for now, i just installed two hours ago
Timeshift can take a lot of space depending on what settings are used
IMO backing up your home directory is more important
The system and config can always be remade, but the home dir can't
Timeshift isn't intended to backup your home directory either, and if used to do so, would hog up a lot of space
I would highly, and promptly install bleachbit and have it clean up a ton of junk files and cache that are hidden away in ur root and home sections. It is good to run it in both root mode, and user mode , and once a month or so to keep things slimmed and neat.
- also make sure Windows Fast Startup is turned off so it doesn't mess with your dual-boot. (cuz it def. does)
