https://www.amazon.com/Cyber-Acoustics-USB-Speaker-Bar/dp/B09DJ1ZM5W/ if it is a laptop and known to do this with LInux this the best option. it is what i had to do
notebook specifically
well uhh, does headphones work too?
it does
thanks
by the way, i think when i installed jdsp, it didnt install correctly, like it didnt download some packages correctly
this is the model i have
any help on that?
ok
i had issues and my model was known for this issue i just had to break down and buy this
i hope you get the speakers working
ok but uhh, how about this?
why do you think it didn't download packages correctly? sudo apt reinstall [package iirc
ok
what is the package name of jdsp?
seriously, what is it? @blazing vale
how am i supposed to know
just how you installed it
via flatpak using terminal
then flatpak =/= apt
≠
i see
i meant that you can't do flatpak stuff using apt
i see
@blazing vale i think i found the issue
jdsp keeps setting itself as the default sound driver (which it shouldnt), and because of that, audio doesnt play
the issue is this, any help?
hello?
@leaden lava
(If I could help, I would, I notice most support tickets being made and moved everyday, hope you find some help soon, can not give an estimate though, everyone is a volunteer)
thanks anyway 👍
install pavucontrol. then open it, go to the Configuration tab, and disable any profile you don't want. (like jdsp, for example), and enable the profile you do want, such as the Intel Integrated Audio Analog. Then go to the Output tab and make sure it's on the same thing, and click the checkmark button to 'set as fallback'
