#Steam games aren't launching

Like the title says, when I try to run a Steam game, it won't launch. I simply click the play button it says "launching" for 2 seconds and then the button becomes "play" again and it won't launch. I tried every compatibility setting for example proton 9.0(beta), proton 8.0-5 and proton experimental. Those games were previously installed on Windows, and I didn't want to remove them to save some time because my internet connection is a bit slow and I don't want to download 120 GB of games again. Is this problem caused by the fact that it was installed on Windows before? I don't think so because Stardew Valley was installed on Windows too but it's working. But it's the only game that I can launch.

use this to get a better idea <#💻coding message>

#

also kill steam and run steam in terminal
see how proton is launching when hitting play on the game since terminal will show it live

#

primarily you just want to check

uname -r ; inxi -G
and then
glxgears | vkcube
gears: opengl
cube: vulkan
to see if that is working

Do you think I can handle this with 0 linux knowledge? I installed mint about 2 days ago and I'm learning as I go

Btw I wasn't aware of it but Mark of the Ninja and Across the Obelisk were installed too and they are working fine like Stardew Valley without any problem. My only problem is when I choose any compatibility they won't launch. For example people on protondb said that Starfield is working with 8.0-5 but it's not working on my system.

Same thing happens with lutris too. Like lutris says I try to install league of legends and it says download the contents of the client but don't login and click the play button. I follow those instructions and I close the client after I download. But when I try to run league of legends, nothing happens like steam.
