Weird messages displaying on screen before restarting.

Use Update Manager, View Menu/Linux kernels, click on 6.5 on the left, install a 6.5 kernel and reboot

I've done that and the issue's gone, but why was it caused to start with? (Was it a kernel panic?)

And will it be fixed in the later 5.15 kernels?

It likely won't be fixed in 5.15 kernels but that is up to the upstream and Ubuntu kernel developers. There must have been some issue with the HID driver in the older kernel and your newer device

Alright, thanks for the clarification. It never happened before the 5.15.0-100 kernel.

Last question, was that a kernel panic or just logs?
