Windows hardware controller doesnt work on Linux at all you cant just use Wine for it
Can try something like this and install auto-CPUfreq
hi alien.. um i hope ur Mint is 64 bit.
It is
Whats that?
I ran the first bit and it said it couldnt find a module named pip
oh msi center is ur motherboard detailer application eh?
I suppose...
yeah it prob wont work on linux
My big problem is that my laptop has a camera on it, but Linux doesn't recognize it
autocpufreq gives some options for clock speed n limiting n such.
I ran inxi -Fxxz and the camera doesnt even appear
install hardinfo
its possible it may not appear either there.. but at least that app is prettier
Done
it's also possible that u need to hit a key combo on ur thing
How do I access hardinfo?
laptops often have a camera "switch" that is enabled by a symbol on the keyboard
it's in the software manager.
Oh, mb. Its in Devices, the camera?
Then install pip etc for auto-cpufreq
What does that mean???
You were right, thanks
cool. did u get hardinfo yet?
koo. plus it shows all ur PCI connected things n stuff
