im having this problem where im trying to install themes but have 0 clue what im doing so uh please help WAAH1

are you sure you're selecting a tar.gz file? because that indicator means that it's a folder

and by the way, XmasIcons is an icon theme, not a gtk theme

its an old theme, thats why its still in gtk2.0

you need to place it in the icon theme folder

go into your home folder
