#Is "Linux Assistant" good?

I want to install Debian and found this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p88zosgXYCM
All seems good until the guy says i have to install "Linux Assistant" to get them media codecs, flatpack etc
Is this is a trustable/good app?. if not, Is there a way to get flatpack integration, media codecs and all that stuff into Debian (easily)?

Today I'm gonna show you how to install Debian KDE and get a smooth start for daily usage.

#

does spiral come with all like the necesary stuff like drivers or sum

umbral marsh
#

basically its like a preconfigured debian ig

#

@umbral marsh yes?

umbral marsh
#

debian updates and stuff

#

well i guess ill use spiral

#

it seems it doesnt have any downsides compared to debian

umbral marsh
#

@umbral marsh is this just for kde?

#

nah i also wanted to change distros

#

just to experiment

#

i wanted to use debian but at the time the simplicity of mint caught my attention

#

@umbral marsh have you considered non debian based distros?

umbral marsh
#

like stable n stuff

#

yes

#

then ill use that

#

and since is a very well known distro online support isnt hard to find

#

@umbral marsh fedora is also good

#

idk about fedora

#

dont know much about it

#

debian is more like common knowledge

#

and i think fedora doesn't use flatpak

#

@umbral marsh it can

#

tbh i just want everything to work out of the box

#

ill probably try fedora in the future

#

mint offers a debian edition fyi

#

for now ill stick with the simple stuff

umbral marsh
#

but i also want kde lol

#

kubuntu

umbral marsh
#

#

and idk if i should trust ubuntu

#

i mean i dont think is good anymore
