What are you booting off of?
USB
Which tool did you use to make the stick?
Belena and disks thing in Linux
Have you tried reflashing the USB at all? I've had that work once or twice.
Yep
Alright.
I tried POP and Mint
Both with the same issue?
I can install POP but it have "stopped responding" during install
I can workaround and install, anyway
But with Mint I'm stuck
Are you doing this on PC or laptop?
Laptop
Specs?
32GB RAM and 2x1TB SSD now
Maybe it's bad flash drive, but I don't know how to check it
And it's 3.0, could be problem too I guess
Do you have other flash drives you can try?
Yep, I have some
I just curious why POP booted but Mint can't
Will try Kali and Ubuntu too
Yeah I'm not sure tbh
Okay, I flashed Mint to another drive, it booted but when I run Install or Firefox - nothing happens
@covert mountain first screenshot your problem please
How can I screenshot that nothing happens?
@covert mountain take it with your phone
Hmm, I think I got what's the problem.
I had choose to use discrete graphics in bios, and Ubuntu doesn't have Nvidia drivers I guess
But the problem is that the install tool does not start/respond still here..
Well, I reinstalled POP!_OS, bad luck with Ubuntu based things I guess :c
@covert mountain pop os is based on ubuntu tho
Dunno why I couldn't install Ubuntu and Mint then tho
@covert mountain is secureboot on?
go into your bios and check, if it is, turn it off
Of course not
use ventoy
