You can use the kernel from Siduction which is more stable and performance well. Also has the latest patches etc. It is basically Vanilla with few patches

Are you a contributor there? if yes you shall fix the overheating on laptops xD. The energy consumption is also higher then the most kernels. It also laks on few points on performance as well (Low latency is depending on the hardware. On Laptops it is even slower)
