I suggest to make the fairy effect scroll permanently in the nosmall.
I understand the basis of fairy effect lock being gatekept in the auction as it's a 100% guaranteed permanent stat lock.
However, the effect scroll being there makes 0 sense to me, it is borderline a necessity to have this to get a 2 S fairy that you want and it takes months to come into the auction meaning you're stuck with a 1 S fairy for the duration of time in between.
In my opinion fairy effect scroll is an essential item for players looking to finalise their character and shouldn't be stuck behind an auction once every 3 months.
If we take what has been my odds (yes small sample size but I believe it's applicable as I've made 4 fairies 2 S, these odds are assuming no fairy event) I get an S stat every 20 converters, and the stat being on the top end of the effect roll is around 2/6 chance. This means u have a 1/20 chance at ANY S stat, a 1/9 chance to get the S stat you want (let's call it 1/8 because we are assuming this is to try get a second S) and then u have a 2/6 chance to get a high roll S stat worth keeping.
I've used chat GPT to show the odds of this below:
The correct stat chosen out of 8 → probability = 1/8.
That stat being an S stat (special roll) → probability = 1/20.
Then, you need to high roll that S stat → probability = 1/6.
Since these are independent events, we multiply them: 𝑃 = 1/8 × 1/20 × 1/6
Step by step:
8×20=160
160×6=960
So: 𝑃=1/960
✅ The odds of hitting the exact correct S stat with a high roll is 1 in 960 (~0.104%).
If we assume with completely average odds you need 960 fairy effect scrolls to roll the S you want I think you can visualise why this wont make effect locks go down in value or become less wanted in the auction, whilst still providing a way to finish your fairy without needing the auction to do so.
