Looking for bazar prices

Please create a Discord bot (or a tool in the new forum, in nostale’s website, anyways it’s up to you) to look for bazar prices

This is a QoL improvement that cannot be part of current QoL updates because it’s outside from the game, but I’m sure this would be appreciated by the vast majority of the community, it’s not that hard to do, you could benefit from it as you could get more visits in the website you put it in… It’s a win-win situation in my opinion 👍

From a technical perspective, this could be done by scraping data (and as it’s your own data, I assume you have access granted, no ?)

Tested by multiple developers and its not possible. Scrapping bazaar is pain in the ass because of the delays. Lets assume there are 3000pages on bazaar, we can see a maximum of 3 pages, and before scrolling to the next 3 pages scrapper will have to wait for 3 seconds which give 3000seconds to scrap the whole bazaar. Of course it can be done by multiple characters at once but still, it would take few minutes for item to appear in Discord/Website

simple solution would be a bazaar revamp. Current one is laggy, has some annoying features (looking at you disappearing letters from search bar), a solid revamp would be the best QoL change i've seen and would also unlock us opportunities to have a NB dc bot/NB website

Of course it would but revamping bazaar comes with HUGE risks of item duping.

No, in fact if they handle it correctly and use their brain, their won't have dupes.

There is multiple way to dupes the nosbazaar :

1 - Negative gold
2 - Buy and remove (AT THE EXACT SAME TIME which means you need a bot to do so)

and there is even more, but in fact, those can easily be handled by normal developers, nothing complicated in doing a nosbazaar, it's like an online shop

And to add more informations of why this delay, it's because the nosbazaar is shitty and before it has no delay but it made the nosbazaar crash multiples times

Agree but remember about the technology and code base that they are using that remembers WW2
