I think everyone knows that this game is extremely ** PAY TO WIN** and the only way of making money is with a lot of sands/alts. Beside this option, there is not really a decent way of making money at all and if u dont make money u cant progress so, why would u still be playing a game where u can only progress when u buy Nosmall or invest a godly high amount of hours exping alts? It just doesnt sound good, right or worth playing the game. NosTale is dying, we cant deny that and i think making players feel like their time invested is at least something worth would help preventing it to die. Not everyone has time to exp 40 alts (i actually would say almost nobody), but everyone can go farm one hour for example. Im not saying to increase the value of trash items or gold drop rate very high, but at least in a way that players can make something that feels worth playing and progressing.

I don´t know if this was already suggested but i think it would be good making this change on a5, a6, a7 and so on.
This doesnt need to be focused just on farming (killing mobs), we could add this change for fishing and cooking, only diference is that we dont get trash items or gold droped there, but we can sell for example fishes for a good price to any npc and if any player wants to buy our fish then they should pay more than npc´s are paying. This way for example we also get a standard price for each fish.

If this change is aproved i would recomend for mobbing, creating new trash items because for example on act 5 we get diamonds and broken diamonds. But we can also get those from doing raids such as Kertos, Valakus.. And then players with lot of alts would abuse this. I would also say not adding this change before act 5 because of people using bots.

Im not aware if this change might affect the game for the worst but i believe it wont. On the contrary i believe it would make the game more enjoyable.

fishes are valued this "low" because of mass boting before, and even like this you can still make tons of easy gold from piranhas since atleast on EU they're 10k each and drop almost everytime in nosville

its also not fair when some guy botting uses 20 accounts/day for 1h to get 20kk+

But thats another subject. We are not here to try and resolve things that are beyond our reach. Of course it is unfair but i would suggest to focus on what we can improve and this would be one thing that the developers could add with ease to improve the game.

THEN LETS MAKE NOISE

We gotta make something happen. This would be a huge improvement for the game if is done correctly and new players will likely stay and not leave

Yeah, and for the "alt abuse" they can make the daily raids 10,7,5 per day or something like that, then u have to do a Lot of differents raids that gives u money and decents stuff to make money

We cant make anything against alt abuse. But we can add this change to improve the game. If we are not listened not even for such a small change, then i would suggest to do a strike

New players cant even afford a mount xd.

I agree something needs to be done, but I think it's also needed to lower the top income, because if everyone gets more gold, prices will just go higher to balance it.

There is only 2 solutions to that, 1 limit the gold we can get with alts to some amount, this would make alts still usable, but not abusable, idk how they could make this, would need further discussing and balancing so people who has alts don't feel like they lost the time making them, while new people may not think it's a must to have them.

And 2, put a price range to items, this one is tricky, and maybe not possible, because of the hard RNG content in the game, they would need to make it in a way so the price counts shells, runes, etc. But basically, I'm thinking in something like BDO has, where all items have a min and max price, and you can't sell or buy items outside that price range, this would totally remove the gold problem for new players, and also the overprice trend some eq has, like fake gear at 85, that eq, because it's rare, and it's monopolized by high levels with alts, can go very high, I saw one time where the cheapest bow was 20kk for an r1.

That's my opinion on it, don't know if people would like it, but none the less, it's very hard so "heal" a market.

Both of ur solutions sound great. I played BDO too and they have done a great job with the market system but as u said it would be very difficult to implement that in Nostale.
