This is a suggestion for people wanting to upgrade pets and their attack level but cannot because the pet kills pirate or samurai trainers in two hits espeically if you have levelled them with pet trainer-SP.
The suggestion is simply to make event trainers work in the exact same way as pet trainer SP summoned sparring monsters where only HP is affected by pet damage but not the MP which affects trainer duration

This suggestion is crucial to making strong team comps in celestial spire as the whole game mode revolves around pets helping with damage and pet trainer SP even attempts to support this by giving attack skills and damage stats which pets cannot properly make use of due to being unable to obtain attack levels
Totally agree, but why not all trainers?
On the other hand, leveling attack is much, much slower than defense as pets can be hit by several trainers at the same time, but can only hit trainers one by one. If there is no good solution for that, please reduce the hits required for attack level by 2 or 3 times at least.
First we urgently need the change for trainers to last the same as sparring monsters (a change which should have been done years ago according to the community) then maybe the developers can think about the number of hits and convenience for players
As for why this doesn't apply to regular trainers it's simply because they are unusable due to the fact they can cripple your pet defense if used to train attack
The regular trainers are not unusable. You can:
- Train the attack first; or,
- Apply debuff on or draw the trainer with your character, and use the Capture skill to stand with it in the same cell. Then it will attack you instead of your pet, and you can train its attack level safely.
or you can use the scarecrow trainers that are specifically made for atk upgrading since they take % damage
but they still lose mp overtime even while you're hitting them, so you do like 95-98 hits each one, and not 100 like intended, which means you'd need 6 of them for one single try at +10 attack, and unless the pet has guaranteed aoe attack you have to use them one by one which is a very high time loss.
AND they still take debuffs, so you can't train pets that have debuffs that reduce either hp or mp, so Darko, Macavity, Pigeon, Ginseng, the battle pass Chaser Fish, and many many others
So yeah, even though scarecrows exist, i 100% agree that pet training in general still has to be checked and changed, the trainer only gives stats, the upgrades are still the nightmare they've always been (and not only in attack upgrading)
"Make use of the new trainer sp" just add 1 defensive and 1 attack trainer as skill. Then u dont need to get the items. Only cages and sp lvl required 👍
That would kill some premium items from nosmall like scarecrows and event trainers which will never happen
People don't really buy those, just get them from the wheel while "hunting" for something else, so I don't thing they would notice anything in terms of revenue xD
