Challenges not updating - stuck on the Monday challenge from last week and none of the archived challenges will load either

Can you please follow these steps so you can share a log file with us to see what's going on?

  1. fully close the game
  2. use this link on your browser: outlanders2://log/set (it should prompt you to open outlanders, accept)
  3. wait for the game to fully load
  4. go back to the browser (but do NOT fully close the game) and use this link: outlanders2://share/log
  5. it should prompt you to open up the game and then to share a log file, and you can send it to me via DMs

Hi, it doesn’t prompt me to open the game when putting the link you provided. Just comes up with a google search result

Just fyi the original error has gone with the being stuck on Monday challenge, now no challenges will load at all

Thanks mateo really appreciate it - tried loads of stuff like updating the phone, deleting the app etc restating but nothing. Been pretty dodgy for months!

I have restarted my laptop and that solved the stuck on Monday... A previous error thing I did do was log out of the game centre and log back in again a few months ago. Hope that helps

for some reason on your device, when the game tries to fetch the current leaderboard from game center it's not working

do you have any other games with leaderboards that you play? if so, are they working for you?

@lament cloud I’ve been having the same issue for over a week now, the challenges clock also seems to be backwards, the challenges be out of date and when trying to open them the game freezes entirely until I fully reboot it.

Tried both wifi and data, tried all sorts really but nothing seems to fix it. Currently replaying all campaign missions and achieving the optional objectives 😅

Make sure you have accepted iCloud's terms and conditions (in Settings -> Apple Account -> iCloud)
Make sure you are connected to iCloud
Make sure you have iCloud storage space
Make sure you are connected to the internet
Make sure you are not connected to a VPN

If none of that works:
Restart your phone and check if that fixes it
If not, log out and back in to GameCenter and check if that fixes it
At this point, I think maybe the best thing to do would be to download another game with leaderboards and check if they work for you (for example, mini motorways). If they don't work either, maybe you can try logging out and back in to your Apple Account and check if that fixes it

Hi, @lament cloud , none of these worked. I also checked on Mini Motorways, leaderboard on there wouldn’t load either 😕

I'd suggest contacting apple support then maybe, i don't know what else could be causing these issues
