#fruit on far side of trees is not picked

This is similar behaviour to the first game. The trees are positioned in the centre of 4 squares, so the orchard needs to cover those 4 squares to cover all 4 quarters of the tree. Perhaps it’d be better if the trees only highlighted when fully covered, and not just the 2 near-side squares.
True but I think it’s more annoying for this behavior to work this way because the orchard is the entity that enables the planting. So why does it allow me to plan a tree on the edge that is then only partially in range?
That’s interesting, it looks like it wouldn’t build with the two red squares
‘Glass half full’ would be that some fruit is better than none in places with irregular spaces
Tree planting does seem restrictive, not dense enough. What they’ve mainly changed this time is have the big mound of soil to show ‘this area is taken by one tree’
It’s more restrictive in that planting is bound by the orchard’s new collection area, pretty limited when on tree occupies 4 squares
is it normal that when i plant trees they don’t start on the blue square around but one square off ? idk if that makes sense
They plant in the middle of 4 squares, not in a square. Tap the cross point of 4 squares, and the mound will be centred there
but when i start my four square following the blue limit it always snip one square off the blue area
I found that if i zoomed in and tried several times, i could get it in the correct spots. Once it landed on a grid, it seems like it is impossible to convince it to switch to starting on the other square.
thank you !!
Yeah i also hate this new feature. I want tree nurseries back where they can plan trees anywhere in the map and have foragers huts collect them instead. Because why have a foragers hut and orchard???
