This is what i have so far but idk if they're right

Green-> shows them multiplied, however in red, you took them away.
As for the pink, you have y on both sides of the equation which isn’t valid

Try dividing instead of taking them away in part (i)
As for (ii) expand it to 3xy and then group the y’s together on one side and the non y’s on the other. I did find this quite difficult to get hang of it 4 years ago so i don’t blame you if you find this confusing
