The equation of the function has four coefficients and you're given four points it passes through.
By substituting those points into the equation you get a system of four linear equations, from whcih you can find the coefficients.
alternatively if you’re given the roots i’d write it in root form and expand

Well, since your function is f(x) = a(x + 1)(x - 2)(x - 3), that means that f(0) = 2.
