What game is this?
its a book "Winning Ways For Mathematical PLays"
Its about game theory
im stumped
...yes. What game is specifically under consideration here?
yeah wow im dumb. hacken bush
they are discussing how to get positions at specific frations
What "positions"?
im not sure what you mean. Its explaining what combination of red and green sticks lead to a postion vaue with a fraction
thats the game
sorry i didnt give visuals earlier
should I explain how hatchebush works. i though its the universal game people start with when studying GT
i dont know much.... of anything about GT
I haven't formally studied game theory, but I understand enough of the concepts.
What are the actual rules of this game?
if you make the last move you win. You can only break your color. and if any sticks arent connected to the ground after you break one they disaapear
idk they confuse me. i didnt get this part. But they said they are demostrating that the pairs in the braces combine to make a net position with a value of a fraction
What are these "components" it's talking about?
0 = who ever play 1st loses
1 = left wins
-1 = right wins
position = {optimal positoin of left | optimal position of right}
im sorry if Im not being very cooperative
i dont understand this book much
it confuses me
Sorry for not being much help myself, it's late here.
No worries! Even giving the time i find flattering. Thank yoy
