well it seems obvious to me why zfc doesnt care about physical reality? because maths and physics are different subjects. In the intersection of the two subjects we have things like axioms of quantum mechanics etc. (mathematical physics stuff). Why would we want our mathematical framework to rely on physics?

So the premise is that QFT says the vacuum energy density is something like 122 orders of magnitude above whats observed in GR, even though they're measuring the same thing on different scales.
