2 years to improve at maths, in order to get the full mark in my ultimate exam. What do I do ?

Hey ! I'm currently in highschool, I chose the math path which is known to be very exigeant when it comes to math exams. In my country there is Bac at the end of high school (which is in 2 years for me), and I really want to get better at math, by actually getting interested in it outside of school, which is why I joined this server (and also to get advice!).

I got 2 years to ace it. I generally struggle with time and panicking during math exams, and I don't want to regret chosing the math path over biology. So with vacation coming I'll probably be visiting this server alot, and if you've got any advice I'll take it. The goal is a 20/20 for Bac !

Well, what advices can I give?

1. Math is HARD. Math is hard, it is an abstract field operating with entities you've never encountered in real life. It is okay to struggle with it, to spend actual time and effort trying to understand some concept. That's okay, everyone who ever learnt advanced math went through it. Don't let that discourage you

2. Never take some formulas as a law. Don't just look at it and shrug it off like "oh yeah, alright, it looks like that". It is best to know how it is derived. Do you know how a quadratic formula is derived?

3. Try to find some fun problems online. Math isn't just boring homework or scary exams. Try solving this server's riddles or find some simple olympiads online (if you struggle, try doing South African olympiads, they are easier than others). Plus, if you learn to love math, it'll be easier to keep the motivation up.

4. If you need help with some math problem, no matter what, you can ask a question about it in this server. We will not give you the whole solution but we will try to give you hints to help you figure out the solution yourself, which is, in my opinion, more helpful

I don't know how good those advices are but I follow them myself most of the time.
