For step 2 the assumption step forgot to put proper notation should be
Why is it 1+6 and not 1*6?
Used the n(n+5) from the last term of the LHS then subbed n=1 and got 1(1+6)
Smth has to be wrong I think I'm supposed to write he whole series out but it doesn't add up to 6 like the RHS
...so let me get this straight.

n(n + 5) = 1(1 + 6)```?

It needs to be whatever you indicate the index to be. It needs to match the letter at the bottom of the sigma.
