Ok
This takes a lot of trial and error
but, you just find the pattern and observe the numbers,
if the result looks too large or involves decimals, it might involve squares or square roots.
If decimals are involved, consider whether fractions or divisions are used in the formula.
Once you find a formula, test it on all triangles
ill try it
Your also allowed to use a calculator
An optional tip is to write down observations on a table
I have tried a lot cant seem to find a pattern
Yup still find it difficult to fidn the pattern
what happened?
to be honest i dont think so the triangle is related
yeah wait nvm
this is hard
alr
perhaps reverse calculations work better?
hmm
like for the first triangle start with 30.25 and try to get to 6, 3 and 2
its obvious to see 6 x (3+2) is 30
but its 30.25
what if it was like
nvm
yeah exactly
6 x (3+2) + i dunno
lmao
lets think
36-5.75
80-20.71
the relationship of 0.25 and one or more of thost numbers
?
??
wait
idk was tryna find the relation
lemme use my calc
okie
what
wait so like 30.25's root=5.5
59.29's root=7.7
so 9.9x9.9
98.01 perhaps?
but this still doesnt explain the numbers around
?
a * (b+c) + ((b+c)/4)
hmm
it works for the first triangle
not for the 2nd one
ahhh
bro i got so excited when i saw the 5
lmao
lifes unfair
alr
lets keep going
?
im dumb nvmm
wait so
did u get the pattern
nope
(6 + 2) x 3
btw hi
hi
24
+6
30
??
whoops
;-;
2/4
ahhh
wsp
3025s root is 55
5929s root is 77
atb bro ๐
lmao what
so thats (a + c) * b - a + (c/(c+c)
;-;
?
yep
=30.25
ok
hmm
dayum
i think so we should use a different approach
nothing is working with triangular thinggy
.
hmm'
write down the multiplication from each side's numbers
wdym
example: triangle 1 has 6 3 and 2
the squares are 36, 9, and 4
the multiplication thingy is 18, 6, and 12
that way we can look for relations
so the middle number of triangle 1 is 30.25
yeah
so look for numbers in the second row and first row that could make 30.25
like
wait lemme get a notbook
alr
sorry wifi was down
Disclaimer: I do not know if this works for decimals ๐
but I know it works for integers
lmao fr
?
(6 x 6) - (2 x 3) + ((2 / 2) / (2 x 2))
whaaa
AHHHHHHH

my brain gonna blast
36??
-6
why
IDK
maybe
ahhhh
dont ping anyone random
yeah ofc
ok so idk if this works but 6+3+2 is 11
30.25/11 is 2.75
so combining what numbers could make 2.75
lmao what
Found one!
?cat
Found one!
yeah alr lmao
lmafo
this can only fix my brain rn
ahhh this is cyberbullying
online i was searching for questions
so like i asked my friends but they werent also able to get it
so i got it here
to the server lmao
oh i thought u meant answer
lmao
?cat
Found one!
WAIT
.
what if we eliminate the decimals then add them back later?
no
i mean
just 30
If we could find a equation for the decimal for triangle 2 this will work if it matches with triangle 1
no guarantee
GODDAMN IT
59.01!!!!
๐ก
๐ก
AHHH
??
like we start with putting answer a into ? and then try figuring out if it makes sense
where did you find this problem?
A reverse image scanner searched 72 billion sites and saw nothing
yeah
like
lets just say triangle 3 is 98.75
sorry my internet disappeared
hmm
read this
it was on a siteaaryabhatta
lmao
then we try to find triangle 1 = 30.25 from there
Wait
again
each time,
the total value on the edges go up by 1
so
it could be 98.75
becuase
if you start on 30.25
nvm
DAMN IT
yeah
a, b c, or d?
Choose b.
lmao
a, b c, or d?
Choose wisely.
damn
a, b c, or d?
Ask again later.
a, b c, or d?
:8ball: My sources say no
๐
๐ฑ the_homie._. asks: a, b c, or d? ๐ฑ
wtf
a, b c, or d?
Choose b.
121.36, 98.01, 121.25, or 98.75?
Uncertain.
just choose b
alr lmao
does it tell u if ur right?
nope
I thought I was tripping until I saw even a grad student couldnt even do it
I FOUND IT!!
I got the answer
@median temple
@median temple ?
I found the answer
I took a look at previous msgs and then I saw this
then I thought
what is 5.5^2? 30.25
then, I tried this but with triangle 2s numbers
it didnt work
but I did some more digging
and found
if you do A-1 for each triangle,
then you multiply that times 1.1
then you SQUARE that
then you get the answer
for triangle 1:
A - 1 = 6 - 1 = 5
(5 x 1.1)^2
5.5^2
30.25
For triangle 2:
A - 1 = 8 - 1 = 7
yeah
damn
ur smart.
wait
THE ANSWER IS B INDEED
8BALL WAS CORERCT
