so your right about the t = 2s
The stone reaches the ground at t=2s, so at t=3s, it is not in free fall. once the stone touches the ground, it no longer accelerates because the ground exerts a normal force that cancels out the gravitational force.
so the acceleration due to gravity after t=3s is zero because the stone is stationary and not experiencing any motion under gravity.
i dont believe you can directly calculate g = 0 after impact
Yes ty
there is a slight misconception, acceleration due to gravtiy is always g.
doesnt matter if its in motion or not

**When helping people, please do not dump the full solution. **
Remember that these people are trying to learn concepts, and our goal should be to reinforce them. Giving them a solution will not help.
**Instead, give them hints and guide them toward the correct solution. **
You can ask things like "what part did you get stuck on?" or "what have you tried so far?" or give them a small starting hint. This ensures better learning. For more tips, reach out to Schlaumau (@schlaumau).
Ah, sorry.
Not sure what you meant at the end. The motion here has constant acceleration.
Start by writing the equation of motion of the stone.
he meant how would you write and equation that represents what happens after t = 2s
