  1. Do not ping the Moderators, unless someone is breaking the rules.
  2. Do not ping the Helper Moderators, unless there is a conflict between helpers.
  3. Do not ping other members randomly for help.
  4. Ask your question and show the work you've done so far. If you've posted a screenshot of a question, specify which part you need help with.
  5. Wait patiently for a helper to come along.
  6. If the Helper has answered your question, remember to thank them with the Mathematics Ranks bot and close the thread with:

Have you learned about the Squeeze theorem?

noooo😭😭

#

based on the name i guess its like

#

how a function or limit behaves between like

#

a point

#

like ur squeezing something until it pops

Well the basic idea is that when you have a relationship between several functions such that g(x)<f(x)<h(x) than if both g(a) and h(a) equal n we can conclude that the limit of f(x) as x approaches a also equals n

#

So it's like you're squeezing the function between two other functions at that point .

ohhhhh

#

ok thats cute

#

Yep

#

Also I have to mention that the limit of the squeezing functions must approach n to be able to conclude that the limit of the squeezed function also equals n, not outright equal.
