okay sorry if im being lazy with explaining what ive done so far because i wrote it all 3 times on the post description but discord crashed each time which irritated me

So the plan is simple, green shaded region = triangle - square

Triangle is 36√3 from using the equilateral triangle formula with 12 as the side

But I'm not sure how to find the square's area, so i started filling in the missing angles and ended up with image 2

So my question is, how do I find a side of the square?

so we have that DCG is congruent to ADH

why, you may ask? because the ratio of the right triangles to AC and the midpoint of GF is 1:2
