Je ne comprends pas aussi :(. (hope this sentence is correct)
do you know l’hopital
oh right that means the hospital in french
but it is a calculus rule
search it up
😭 hospital is a calcule?,,
yea
alr
okay, here are some general rules for rational functions. Let us define a rational function to be $\frac{f(x)}{g(x)}$, where $f$ and $g$ are polynomials. \
- For $deg(f)>deg(g)$, where $deg$ represents the degree of the polynomial, then $\lim_{x\to\infty} \frac{f(x)}{g(x)}=DNE$. \
- If $deg(f)<deg(g)$, then $\lim_{x\to\infty} \frac{f(x)}{g(x)}=0$ \
- If $deg(f)=deg(g)$, then $\lim_{x\to\infty} \frac{f(x)}{g(x)}=\frac{a}{b}$, where $a$ is the leading coefficient of $f$ and b is the leading coefficient of $g$.
dark matter
but why? that’s why i said to find what lhopitals were
most likely, if OP is learning rational limits, they have not learned L’H yet.
really that’s taught before? dumb
it’s better to use these methods, rather than using L’H anyways
Still need help ? @late crystal
first one is just 3/5
and it have to be instatly seen
instantly*
in 1. it's either inf or -inf depending on the sign of the leading coefficient of f
2, infinity
3, zero
the last one is 0 too
2/n trivially goes to zero
(-1)^n / n does too
so their sum goes to zero
i have 1) 3/5 2)+infinity3)+infinity 4) 0
3 is not correct
denomiator going bigger faster

**When helping people, please do not dump the full solution. **
Remember that these people are trying to learn concepts, and our goal should be to reinforce them. Giving them a solution will not help.
**Instead, give them hints and guide them toward the correct solution. **
You can ask things like "what part did you get stuck on?" or "what have you tried so far?" or give them a small starting hint. This ensures better learning. For more tips, reach out to Schlaumau (@schlaumau).
AHH i have 7/ +infity that why is 0??
whats 7/100000000000000000000000000
okk ty
@late crystal
🤨
do not dump the whole solution silly
don’t give an answer.
oh, sorry
you, as well, don’t give answers.
oh, here it is
I didn't saw
