the question is to find the general solution to the differential equation
np
you've attempted integrating both sides twice?
ye i have but it give me an answer that was incorrect
show your work.
i dont have it
but i remember on the left side i got like 1/2(y)^2+ay+b which i thought just doesnt make sense
is that all correct?
Just carefully differentiate two times
If ur not getting answer either ur messing up the signs or calculation error
I'm solving for y
lol
tim
Nah that's the second person I should have included the question
Why don't you have to do it on the y side?
^
Or difference
Oh ye that makes sense
and besides, it’s more convenient
And I think for this question u don't need to put c until the end
@fickle token
Why is it given t greater than 0
How does it matter
idk
Okay better also mention y's domain ig
So does that mean on the left side I get y^2/2 and then the right side is the same
And then just isolate y
The first time u integrate both side u get dy/dt on the left
And the second time u get y
No isolation required
And ofc on the right side u get whatever is the antiderivative
