This YouTuber claims that an open circuit would still have a finite voltage across the points where the circuit isn’t closed but that’s not what I observed when I did it in the laboratory, 3.6V were observed along the terminals of the led when the circuit was closed. When I took the LED out I got 0V (makes sense coz if there’s no current flowing ((the loop is open))the voltage should be equal to zero too) but then when I google this, it says an open circuit would still have a voltage across its terminal called the open source voltage. What’s going on? I need help.
