So I got 8 for the bike trail but ChatGPT says it’s 72 which is an absurdly high number for a bike trail.
This is the work I did
chatgpt is never right.
NEVER
EVER
True true. I looked it up on a different ChatGPT app and it gave me a different answer.
just dont use it
let me set up the word problem
$\frac{x+8}{5}=\frac{x}{3}*\frac{3}{2}$
;(
which is $\frac{x+8}{5}=\frac{x}{2}$
;(
denominator on rhs of step 2 should be 3, not 5
and should be +8 not -8
Okay, I’m fixing it right now
alright
do you know what rhs is?
What
right hand side
so look at this
Wait, how did you come up with this equation
because of the information given in the problem
x is the track distance
so x+8 would be what he ran on the first day
