hint: similar triangles
i didnt understnad
have you learnt similar triangles before
ok
they are triangles with the same proportions, but one can be bigger than the other
ok
ok?
have you learnt congruent triangles at least
can you tell me how you would prove two triangles are congruent
using ratios
what ratios?
as the ones u said like the sides
a/a=b/b=c/c
they are all the same sides but just the sides have been increased
ok that’s for similarity
you’re right, SSS or PPP (all sides have same ratios) is a good proof of similarity
yes
the other ones are SAS (two sides and the angle between them) and AA (two equal angles)
currently, our side ratios are 5:x-2 and 2x+5:40
yes
we don’t know if these are equal, so anything with sides in it can’t be used
ohhh ook
but we can use AA
2 equal lenghts
two equal angles
ohh sorry
now we aren’t given any angles either, but we have parallel lines
A brief description and guide on how to use me was sent to your DMs!
Please use ,list to see a list of all my commands, and ,help cmd to get detailed help on a command!
sorry, i was offline
they’re UT and KL actually
you can find equal angles with them
The ratios between similar sides are equal
