In most of the tasks I've encountered, if the goal is to find the derivative, it's usually clearly stated. However, in this case, the problem simply asks for 𝑦′
without explicitly mentioning that it refers to the derivative, which has left me a little confused.
Should I interpret 𝑦′ as the derivative of the function with respect to π‘₯, or is there another interpretation for 𝑦′
(like some other type of calculation or context)?
