got the answer just confused how they got it - where did 65 come from?

that's the bearing from B to R

Yeah so ARB can be quickly calculated just by calculating the full circle of 360°. If we go clockwise to arrive in the bearing 295°, we still need 360-295 = 65° to arrive back to bearing north.
