huh
What?
ya
As I said, better to simplify it first so you don't have to use the quotient rule.
Open the brackets, then it'll just be a sum of power functions.
is it -3x^-2 - 9x^-1/2 + 18x^-3/2
No.
wait
open this
it is 1/3
huh
1/3 * √x
1/3x^1/2
wait no
(x^1/2) /3
this is actually so confusing
ngl
so its (1/3)x^-1/2
@lavish saddle
?
ya
ohhhhhh
aight so i did the math and got (1/2)x^(1/2) - x^(-1/2) + (1/2)x^(-3/2)
what do i do now
idk tbh
my dad did it but i didnt understand it fully
ill just ask my teacher tomorrow
during the class
k
Note that x^a x^b = x^(a + b).
you have to find dy/dx using quotient rule
or simplify y first and just use power rule to differentiate
like darpinger said
you can factor out 1/3 first
then split the expression into 3 terms, simplify each expression
then you'll have y = ag(x)
y' = ag'(x)
then you just have to get the result into the required form

its not working
