What are the questions?
one sec
lemme put it in
these 3
ive been very confused on these
its been almost 2 hours
i have homework due in 20 minutes
1, 3. The solution of y > f(x) is the region above the graph of y = f(x), and below for y < f(x). If the sign is non-strict, the graph of y = f(x) is also included in the region.
2. Note that this is just f(x) = (3/2)|x + 2| - 4.
I dont understand
Which part?
both.
Well, you have to be more specific. What are you having trouble with?
graphing is way too confusing for me
finding the answer
In the first exercise, start by drawing the two graphs of these functions.
ok
Don't treat them as inequalities for now.
ok
are we working on this?
No.
We don't just offer solutions. I can give hints, but you have to solve this on your own.
ok
So, did you draw the graphs?
Alright. Can you show it?
Take a photo.
I dont have a phone
I can only get it in 10th grade
do you know any online graphs i can do it on
so i can show you
Hm... Well, I mean, using a graphing calculator isn't useful in this case, as you nede to be able to draw the lines yourself.
Anyway, I'll trust that you drew them correctly.
Now, as I said above, if we have y < f(x), then that is a region below the graph y = f(x), not including the curve itself.
So, mark it. Then do the same for the other inequality, taking into account that it is strict.
And after that just intersect these two regions.
ok
done
wait accutally its fine
its due in 1 minute
i cant do it all
sry for wasting your time
yup
i little bit off
Nice!
but looks same
Oh, in what way?
What is that line?
mb that ss was confusing
my line ended around there
@barren rapids so my main question is i have to graph this with 4 points on the graph
thats what i cant find
Oh. Well, I mean, this is an infinite region, so we can only schematically draw a part of it.
oh ok
What's the question?
You mean how to graph linear functions?
yes
@barren rapids acctually i have to good sleep now
well thank you alot for giving me an idea and teaching me bout this
i just have one mroe question
do you recommend any online math website to learn
something similar to khan academy
ixl
brilliant
im lookin for osmething under 200 if you have any recommendations please tell
I use lectures and textbooks. This is school level algebra, so there should be plenty available.
Also, what di you mean by "under 200"?
$
What does money have to do with this?
like ixl and brilliant use money
im asking if there are any good websites to learn math in
like do you have any prefference
I haven't used websites to study. As I said, I use lectures and textbooks, many of which you can google or find on Libgen.
